2018 China Textile And Apparel Trade Show (New York) Grand Opening

This show used all of the five pavilions in the first floor of the exhibition centre. The exhibition area was over 30,000 square meters. There are nearly thousand enterprises from 19 countries and regions participated in the exhibition. China's exhibition groups include more than 600 enterprises from 19 provinces and autonomous regions, including Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Fujian provinces. Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Fujian account for 80%. At the same time, Turkey, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Colombia, South Korea, Pakistan, Guatemala, India, the United States and other countries and regions are also represented in this exhibition.

The year 2018 is a special year. The sino-us trade war is in full swing. The tariff levy is not only a tax on consumers in essence, but also brings uncertainty to the more stable international supply chain. American consumers, fashion brands and Chinese textile and apparel manufacturers will not benefit from trade disputes.

As the organizer of the exhibition, it is our pursuit to continuously create value for customers. In the current uncertain business environment, our multinational team is always committed to creating certain trade opportunities for exhibitors and professional audiences, and enriching the content of the exhibition on the basis of enhancing the practical effect of trade. As it turns out, many Chinese textile companies have not lost confidence and still have high hopes to expand the U.S. market through the New York exhibition platform. We believe that the status of many Chinese enterprises as the most stable and reliable suppliers of American fashion brands will not change, nor will the mutually beneficial and win-win trade partnership between China and the us textile industry that has long been established.

I believe that with the joint efforts of both governments and business communities, china-us trade will eventually return to the normal track. As an important platform for trade promotion, the New York exhibition will continue to make positive contributions to the sustainable development of an efficient and mutually beneficial textile and apparel supply chain between China and the United States.


After the opening ceremony, all guests, accompanied by the exhibition director, visited the exhibition and communicated with the exhibitors, and watched the fashion show of famous domestic underwear brands organized by Shenzhen underwear association. As one of the highlights of this exhibition, this fashion show dynamically displays the latest achievements of Chinese underwear products in creativity, design and manufacturing.
